Most Accurate Palworld 1.0 Breeding Data
Palworld's 1.0 launch rewrote the breeding system. Many older calculators still use pre-1.0 data, which means wrong combos, missing Pals, and broken breeding chains. If you've ever followed a calculator's recommendation and gotten a completely different child, this is why.
Where Our Data Comes From
BreedRoute's breeding data is sourced directly from datamined 1.0 game files using the open-source palworld-save-pal tool (MIT-licensed). Every Pal's breeding power (combiRank), special combination, and gender dependency rule is extracted from the actual game data — not crowdsourced or guessed.
See the full sourcing details on our data source page.
What Changed in 1.0
The 1.0 update changed breeding power values across the board. A pair that produced Anubis before the update might now produce something completely different. Key changes include:
- Reworked combiRank values for most Pals
- New Pals added to the breeding pool (Paldeck 150+)
- Adjusted special combinations and gender-dependent rules
- New variant Pals (Ignis, Cryst, Terra, Noct, Lux, Primo)

Why Other Calculators Get It Wrong
Reddit is full of posts from players who followed a calculator's suggestion only to get a different result. The most common reasons:
- Pre-1.0 data: The calculator was built before the 1.0 launch and never updated
- Crowdsourced data: Player-submitted combos that were correct in early access but changed in 1.0
- Missing variants: Ignis, Cryst, Terra variants have different breeding rules that older tools don't handle
- Wrong tie-breaking: When two Pals share the same combiRank, the game uses an internal index that some calculators get wrong
Known Limitations
BreedRoute's tie-breaking logic uses paldeck number as a proxy for the game's internal breeding index. This is unverified and may produce incorrect results in rare edge cases where two Pals share the exact same combiRank. Always cross-check with your in-game results, and let us know if you find a discrepancy.
How to Verify Your Results
- Look up the target Pal on BreedRoute to see its parent combinations
- Breed the pair in-game and check the egg result
- If the result differs from what BreedRoute predicted, report it
- Check the data status page to see known issues and verification progress
